The BluArmor HS1 headset is an in-helmet device that, when activated automatically connects you with your caller so that you get the work done on the go! Yes, so as long as you are wearing your helmet fitted with the BluArmor HS1 Bluetooth headset you can use them on your weekend rides too.

BluArmor HS1 Helmet Bluetooth, the Why?

We live in a fast paced life that requires one to literally work on the go at times. Be it work from home or travelling, coordination with workmates, whether senior or junior is crucial to get the job done. So also, are the one-off calls from friends and family calling in to check on you or just a casual conversation to break the workday blues. In these cases, be it urban traffic or the howling windy highway, sun or rain nothing beats a gadget that can take care of the calls for you.

BluArmor HS1 Helmet Bluetooth Review: 1st impressions

Just like all devices, in its price range the BluArmor HS1 Helmet Bluetooth device also comes well packed in a classy yet subtle exterior. A special mention here is the user manual that is thoughtfully embedded in the cover of the box so that you have it when you need it.
Depending on the form factor of your full-face helmet, either it is easy to align along the inner walls or it takes some tweaking.

BluArmor HS1 Helmet Bluetooth Review: operations

Powering the device up is the fun part. Unlike other brands where you might end up with a voice other than English should you skip a beat while operating, here the only language you hear is English.

A futuristic yet clear voice that:
Welcomes you
Notifies you about the battery levels in percentage
Confirms once the phone and device are successfully connected
While it may sound trifle, it is one of those little things that matter much. Speaking of which, the music is so crisp that you would want to ditch your home theatre and watch your favorite blockbuster wearing your helmet. In terms of telephonic conversations, you can hear the caller with as much clarity and the noise cancellation is excellent overall.  Just that at times there are fluctuations due to which your “voice” is lost in neverland.

BluArmor HS1 Helmet Bluetooth Review: Beyond utility

Likewise, using the buttons to re-dial takes some adapting. However, kudos to the team that for even a low-cost device they have commissioned the app to provide its user with updates. In addition to this one can get child parts (at a cost and depending on availability). The thoughtfully designed boom with the USB C connector makes for easy access when it comes to recharging duties.

For an-inhouse Indian brand to create a product that fills the gap without breaking the bank, the BluArmor HS1 Helmet Bluetooth is a product to reckon with. Yes, there is always room for improvement and I look forward to it when I am shopping around for my next Blu armor, oh I meant helmet Bluetooth system.
