This review is about 365 days over due. While trying to understand this legacy product it was decided that a 1st time review cannot be based on a short overnight ride. It has to span at least an interstate with at least 600 kilometers of travel. So, off we went in search for that long trip with minimalistic items that fit in (preferably without the need to used the extension zippers) for a long ride.
Finally, after the 300 plus days of waiting we got the opportunity and premise to head out. An interstate ride with unforeseen weather, the uncertainty of traffic and a thousand miles before we decide to come back home.

No we will not bore you with the dynamics and build quality nor will we talk about what you may have already read. Suffice to say that –
- One can pack for a 3 day ride or a long “festive weekend” ride and you get an integrated waterproof cover too

Armed with a 4 point fastening system, the tank bag stays planted without much of a bulge. Additionally, it in fact adds up as a sturdy backrest (when used as a tail bag). So, whether you are a novice or an expert motorcyclist it does matter. placing the 2 loop straps and fastening all 3 straps is possible in under 5 minutes and without a fuss. Yes, if you park at a place where the bolt-on straps will not be stolen, it will take half as much time to secure the tank bag on your motorcycle irrespective of its form factor.
