The Shima Jet riding pants sitting on display as you enter Gear & Throttle House HQ makes you wonder, WHY? After all, for half the price or even less you can get a mesh jacket. Then why on earth shell out almost double the price for which one can get a regular riding jacket. The plain jane looks got the better of me too.. What we are paying for is tucking in all those blemishes and apertures in an almost seamless design. Its simplicity is its style statement, just like that luxury car wrap in a single paint scheme with accents of chrome parked in an array of “hot Machines” and the like.

When the weather gets really hot, riding a motorcycle is indeed exhausting unless you have well ventilated riding gear. The JET riding pants are designed with extra large mesh panels on the front and back. This is done in order to offer optimum ventilation. Now ride comfortably even in the warmest environments. Also, sewn with double reinforced safe seams it provides both durability and lightweight.

The trousers are equipped with NextDry™ waterproof membrane rain liner. This can used as an inner as well as outer liner depending on your preference. The NextDry™ membrane is a microporous, breathable construction, thereby making it a waterproof and windproof solution. Specifically designed for motorcyclists like you, NextDry™ allows your skin to breathe while keeping it dry and comfortable. Now ride rain ready and keep that throttle steady!!

The Jet riding pants comes with:
- CE certified Armour LEVEL 2.
- They include class-leading knees impact protectors for higher security and confidence.
- To extend the set you could buy separately SAS-TEC hip and SAS-TEC tailbone protectors.
What is more?
- The trousers are reinforced by additional thick fabric on knee areas to increase tearing and abrasion resistance.
- For your convenience, they have a grip fabric insert on the rear.
- Special grip material on seat area ensure firm riding and no sliding.

For riding during the summers you can create a well-ventilated set combining JET pants with specially designed JET jacket. Also, the riding pants equipped with two types of connecting zippers:
- 360° zipper for maximum safety or
- Short zipper for more comfort
Additionally, it can be paired with any of the SHIMA jackets thanks to the Mix & Match system. Now combine different pants sizes with your jacket using a compatible connecting zipper.
